Hey Everyone!

First of all I would like to apologized that I have been MIA again for the last couple of  months or so. I've been quite busy and lazy. lol..procrastination!!..ahh..

So, just to update everyone what I have been up to for that last 2 months or so. Been really busy with work as we all know things aren't easy while trying to maintain my sanity in life. I've been so unorganized recently to keep anything in track. :( ahh...life...would do me wonders if I don't have to worry about anything and take a relaxing vacation....a veryyy....long one that is. :) I can only dream! :)

Anyway, I have a few products that I have been loving and using everyday as like I stated I have been quiet lazy, so my makeup is very minimal and natural look. So I have been using is the Sigma eyebrow powders in dark shade- love the pigmentation, easy to use  I apply with eyeliner brush,  Kat Von D foundation in L 44- best full coverage foundation, totally last forever only using a little bit goes a long way, downside to it is that is a bit dry if its not blended in well enough. Next, is the  Naked flush palette- bronzer is okay, not very hype on it. Love the blush, very pigmented but  it has that shimmer in it that doesn't make it over powering, again when applying must go really light hand. highlighter is too shimmer in my opinion., and Sephora contour eye pencil 12 hr in brown- last quiet well, very little smudging. Not recommended for oil/combination skin type as it will smudge quiet a bit, if not set with powder after applying. Lastly, is mascara, I've been using Diorshow Blackout. Nothing seems right without it even after all these makeup on. See if you notice anything missing?..that right  the  mascara is not in the picture. I totally forgot about putting it in with the rest of the makeup when I took the picture. OOh well... you can see the picture on the next blog I have coming out. As I will be giving my review and recommendation on which mascara I prefers!.

See below for picture of the products.

(sorry about the lightings. close up of the foundation color is below-Kat Von D Lock it Tattoo foundation in L 44)

Top Recommend Mascara

Hey All,

So today's topic...is mascaras what I recommend. Why, this topic?!?..I know that you can find many others opinions everywhere on the websites, others recommendations. I have tried so many mascaras, never have a found one at the drug store that would last on me without smudging, giving me "the raccoon eyes". Expect one from the drug store: Maybelline Stiletto mascara. Nevertheless, I'm always on a hunt for a good decent mascara that does what it actually say it does.-Waterproof, no smudging and long lasting! I have decided to   put my pennies of thoughts in this matters as well! Just because that all our opinions are different, do not means it applies to everyone. What we write on the website or blog, its our opinions because all our skin reacts to all products differently; so what might works very well on me, doesn't means that it would work well on you as well. And what advertise something doesn't mean it actually does it job on you. You have to take in the consideration of your skin, the environment your in (inside/outside/humid..etc).

So, why mascara?!.Mascara is most every girl, every day must haves! We can't live without it everyday when we do makeup. Its difficult to choose that right one because there is such a various range of it.As many you know, its' divided in  different categories.
Such as; waterproof, lengthen, and  volume. Obviously, how we choose the type of mascara that we want is by determining what works the best with our lashes. So my preference might not be yours. I prefer all my mascaras to be waterproof and lengthen.. Just 'cus my skin is combination skin, so depending how waterproof is the mascara, it would still smudge off, giving me the raccoon eye. Also, to take in consideration, my lashes are very short so that could also be the cause of the mascara on my lashes can rub onto the skin under my eye. Sorry for my loooong rumbling....Lets get started on listing my favorite and  recommend with my saying in it. Please keep in mind, everything I write is what I felt about the products are personally, so please don't take offense!

 My top favorite:
                         MOST RECOMMEND-  Top 3

1. Urban Decay -Cannonball (waterproof) - my absolute favorite
Top to Bottom: Urban Decay, Tarte, and Lancome
  - it does as it actually says. Full waterproof and long lasting and it also volumize and lengthen as well! This is prefect for those special occasions (e.i wedding.) perfect for brides or a prefect sunny weather at the beach or party. This mascara won't smudge in any occasions.

2. Tarte-  Amazonian Clay Smart - this mascara is one of the best mascara that last long, lenghten & volumize, plus its non smudgeable! =) Great for everyday use for work to everyday gathering

3. Lancome Hynose Star- last long, lengthen and volume, and its non smudgeable but its not waterproof! This is prefect for work, it won't smudge if the surrounding isn't too humid or hot. prefect for room temperature or cooler air.

                       LESS RECOMMEND - Top 2

As stated previously, I have tried a lot of mascaras and a lot have not work very well with me, so I won't mention all of them here. I will only mention on the ones I have totally high expectation. AKA high ended products!

1. Dior - Diorshow Blackout Waterproof- Totally waste of money. Not worth the amount, your just paying for the brand of it. It does not stay long lasting, nor its waterproof! Smudge so easily, if you don't prep you skin and eye fully. say RACCOON EYES !!!=( I felt totally trick by the name "WATERPROOF" label right on the mascara! I am totally disappointed with this product just because its Dior product! Can't wear this in the office nevertheless outside in the warm weathers!
Top to Bottom: Lancome and Dior

2. Lancome- Hynose Drama-  Not very lengthen nor volumize as suppose to be. Was recommend by another MUA, felt totally disappointed! Not dramatic as stated as it would be! Plus it drys out majorly fast! Its does smudge a quite a bit even in room temperature environment;.

Hopefully, this help with some of my inputs on my experiences with mascaras! Choose your mascara carefully, but obviously each person opinions are different, so one must try it out themselves first to know what works ! But, if you are on small budget on mascara definiately try Maybelline Stiletto. I highly recommend this to everyone and to those who are starting to use makeup!  This can be purchase from any local drug store like Target, Walmart, Superstore, etc.

Until later..! =D

Hey all,

I hope that everyone had a wonderful New Year to start off 2013. Sorry for being MIA for awhile, I was sick since beginning of the year! =( What a way to start off the new year, eh? As said, I was sick so I have not had a huge chance in getting much new things to review and been super busy.  But, I did able get a chance in reviewing some products that I had gotten last year and never had a chance to try it. So without delaying any longer...here is..

Smashbox blush in Bare. It has a nice pink-peach tone with shimmers in it. Great for that natural glow with out being too pink. Great for during the day or night makeup. Its been one of my favorite for the last 2 months. Its the one, I've been reaching for every morning for a refreshing look

Next is the Bose Cleansing cream. Really recommend to those who have sensitive skin. It has no fragrance, so no any nasty smells. =) Love the way it dispenses the products out. Its a pump so its easy to have access to it versus other that has lids that you have to flip to open up. Works wonders in taking makeup off that is not waterproof. It's a great products to those that combination/dry skin as it has an oily texture like gel so it removes makeup quite well.

Next is the Ciate Sequin manicure nail kit. Here is what it looks like on my nails. Look as what you see on the package. One thing is that it does not last long max would be 2-3 days. The sequins comes off very easily. Not very recommended if your someone like me that is on the computer a lot. But it does look very nice. Very messy when applying it on in my  opinion that lots of time to dry. Otherwise, very neat product to try,if your a nail junkie.
